Made in Mirrors is not only about the exchange of cultures it is also about the exchange of knowledge. The art educators of Het Domein and MAMAM worked in the each others institutions.

They switch positions and join the team of the other institution. This exchange is a collaboration as well as an exchange of knowledge between 2 institutes; Het Domein and MAMAM. Jerika Vertegaal, educational curator of Het Domein went to Recife to participate in an educational project in the favelas of Recife. Mozart Santos, educational manager of MAMAM no Patío, participated at the educational projects of Het Domein.

Together they make a project, which reflects on identity and ‘me and my community’. One of the exchanges between the children of Recife and Sittard will be the sending of self-made postcards and the making of a video of their neighborhood, which will be placed on the video exchange program You Tube.
